About ATLARA

Built around one measurement.

We buy a mattress by lying on it. We buy a chair by sitting in it for half an hour. Then we buy a pillow by squeezing it in a shop aisle, as if the only thing that mattered were how far it sinks.

01

Built around one measurement

While you sleep, there is a gap between the mattress and the back of your neck. It has a measurement. It changes depending on whether you are on your back or your side. And a flat pillow does not fill it — it either leaves it empty or pushes into it. Eight hours a night, a third of your life, holding your head at an angle nobody chose.

ATLARA starts there. Not with a new material or a miracle foam — with a shape made for that particular gap. Two working heights. A recess where your head settles. A raised edge where your neck meets it. A cut-out for your shoulder, and lowered wings for the arm you tuck underneath. Nothing else.

02

What we will and will not tell you

We will tell you the density of the foam, the two heights, the size of the pillow and how to wash it. Those are facts, and you can check every one of them against the pillow in your hands.

We will not tell you that it cures anything. We are not doctors and this is not a medical device. If you wake up in pain, that is worth a conversation with someone qualified — not a purchase.

We will not show you certification badges that belong to somebody else, or reviews from people who do not exist, or a counter pretending we are about to run out. If you have shopped for a pillow online you have seen all three, and you already know what they are worth.

03

Who this is for

People who have already replaced their pillow more than once and are still waking up stiff. Who suspect the problem was never softness. Who would rather see a cross-section than a testimonial.

If that is you, the diagram on our homepage will tell you more in thirty seconds than this page has.

04

The honest caveats

Memory foam holds heat. More than down, more than feather. The cover is a breathable knit and it helps, but if you sleep very hot you should know that now rather than later.

A contoured pillow feels strange for the first few nights. Your neck has spent years adapting to something flat. Give it a week.

And memory foam softens. Expect two to three years of proper support, and replace it when it stops springing back. Any brand telling you their foam lasts a decade is selling you something other than foam.
